Disaster recovery
planning is a little like buying insurance. The odds are that at some point, you're going
to need it. Unlike other types of insurance, however, disaster recovery plans are usually
not a business requirement -- so very few businesses have adequate plans of this type in
place.
Disaster recovery planning can be a complex process. While many companies increasingly
focus on web sites and intranets, disaster recovery planning for these systems is
dangerously lacking. A recent survey found that less than 10% of companies doing business
on the Web had disaster recovery plans in place. Networked business environments rated a
little hight with approximately 17%. Its a good bet that companies have neglected
disaster recovery planning because it can be a time-consuming, resource-intensive process
while many others simply may not know where to start.
Few organizations have the time, money or expertise to develop a comprehensive business
continuity plan internally. Every organization has different needs. To cater to the wide
range of disaster recovery needs that exist, Totalsoft has developed a modular approach to
disaster recovery and contingency planning--TotalRecovery.
Totalsoft Disaster Recovery Solution - TotalRecovery can help your organization develop valid disaster
recovery/business continuity strategies for all parts of the organization, from provision
of IT Disaster Recovery Plans through dealing with continuity of specific business

In today's workplace, you can't afford to lose valuable data permanently. While no network
system is 100% insured against downtime, TotalRecovery can help minimize
the risks and increase your chances of successful disaster recovery. |
